Thad Christian

award winning editor and motion artist, is the founder and driving force behind Phenomenon, a post production boutique in Pittsburgh, PA. With a background in music and art and inspired by visual artists in all mediums both past and present, Thad has enhanced numerous projects with his singular touch, broad expertise, and unique vision for close to 20 years.

Thad’s career started by shooting and editing corporate videos, and he rose quickly through the ranks of various Pittsburgh-based post houses. He is proficient in high-end editing and compositing platforms such as Avid DS Nitris, Avid Media Composer, and Final Cut. He is also proficient in driving applications such as Adobe After Effects and other rotoscoping and motion-tracking applications.

Thad has edited everything from national TV spots to short films, high-end corporate video and animation. His past and present clients include: Pittsburgh Pirates, Cincinnati Reds, Pittsburgh Steelers, Equitable Resources, UPMC, US Steel, Lockheed Martin, American Eagle and various advertising agencies.  Complimenting his skills in motion graphic design is his unequaled ability as a visual storyteller. His awards include Best of Show Addy awards, I.D.E.A., Tellys, among others.
